TOUR OF CHAMPIONS SWEEPSTAKES
OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Sweepstakes starts 3/24/08 at 10:00 am C.S.T. and ends 5/16/08 at 10:00 pm C.S.T., “promotion period”.
ELIGIBILITY: Open only to legal residents of the continental U.S. who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at time of entry. Promotion is void where prohibited or restricted. Employees of National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Gulf States Toyota, U.S.A., MO7 Mobile Interactive Marketing, LLC., the FKM Agency; their related and affiliated companies/dealers and advertising and promotional agencies and entities involved in the implementation and production of the sweepstakes and their immediate families (spouses and parents, siblings, children and their spouses) and persons who reside in the same household are not eligible.
ENTRY: Entry requires a registration code number. You may request a code number using your mobile device by text messaging the keyword ‘Toyota’ to the short code 777111 – standard text messaging rates based on your wireless service provider will apply. Limit one (1) entry per person during the “Promotion Period”.
PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize of a trip for two (2) people to Santa Fe, New Mexico as part of the 2008 Tour of Champions. Prize includes three (3) nights stay at the Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza (double occupancy), round trip air travel from Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin or San Antonio to Santa Fe, NM, transfers to and from Santa Fe airport to Albuquerque, NM, two (2) dinners with Tour Group and a daily breakfast buffet. Both parties must travel on the same itinerary and depart on 9/18/08 and return on 9/21/08. The approximate value is $2000. One (1) First Prize of a $1,000 Gift Certificate good at an Official MS 150 Bike Store and one (1) Second Prize of a $500 Gift Certificate good at an Official MS 150 Bike Store to be specified.
Prize may not be assigned or transferred except at sole discretion of the NMSS, Lonestar Chapter. Taxes on prize and any expenses not stated relating to acceptance and use of prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value should the prize become unavailable for any reason. Travel must occur on the dates specified or the prize will be forfeited.
DRAWING: A random drawing will be conducted by PMC, an independent judging organization, from all eligible entries received on or about 7/1/08. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. All Prize Winners will be notified by mail. The winners will be required to sign and return within ten (10) days an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability & Publicity Release (“Affidavit”) in order to claim his/her prize. Grand Prize Winner travel companion must sign and return a Liability Release. If the potential winner cannot be contacted, or fails to sign and return the Affidavit within the required time period, he/she forfeits prize. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsors will award the prize to an alternate potential winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. If winner fails to comply with any sweepstakes requirement, Sponsor reserves the right to randomly select an alternate winner.
GENERAL: All federal, state and local laws apply. By entering the sweepstakes, each entrant agrees: (a) to these Official Rules and decisions of the Sponsor and Judges, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this sweepstakes, (b) to release Sponsor and its respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, dealerships, advertising and promotion agencies, and all others entities associated with the development and execution of this sweepstakes, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability from injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from participation in this sweepstakes and /or from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize and (c) that Sponsor and its designees may use their names, voices and/or likeness and images for advertising, publicity and other purposes worldwide, without permission or additional compensation except where prohibited by law. Released Parties are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by Web site users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes, and the Released Parties assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission at any Web site related to the sweepstakes, or for communications line failure, or for theft or destruction, tampering, or unauthorized access to entries and/or entry information; or for printing, human, typographical or other errors in any sweepstakes material or the administration of this sweepstakes; or for any computer, software, Internet Web site or electronic defect, error or failure regardless of reason. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the operation of the sweepstakes or any Web site related to the sweepstakes; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in a disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. In the event of a dispute as to entries submitted by multiple users having the same e-mail account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account used to enter the sweepstakes at the actual time of registration will be deemed to be the participant and must comply with these rules. Authorized account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization, which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Potential winner may be required to provide Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the potential winning entry. If, for any reason, the sweepstakes cannot be completed as planned by infection of computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or other failures that in Sponsor's sole opinion corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the sweepstakes, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend this sweepstakes by posting a notice on HYPERLINK "http://www.bikemscontest.org" www.bikemscontest.org and award prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to such action. No correspondence/phone calls/other inquiries will be entered into, nor will be acknowledged/returned.
WINNER'S LIST: For names of Winners send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Tour of Champions, 7155 Old Katy Rd., Ste 100 North, Houston, TX 77024 for receipt not later than 7/1/08.
